| Abstract | Description_of_the_dataset: A community-based cross-sectional study was conducted from March, 1 to 14, 2021 among civil servants aged above 18 years in Guji Zone, Oromia, Southern Ethiopia. A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect data. The questions used to assess prac tice were adapted from the WHO STEP wise approach to chronic disease risk factor surveil lance instrument and Ethiopian national NCD guideline. Objective_of_the_data_or_study: to determine the prevalence of diabetes mellitus among governmental civil servants in Guji Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia, in 2021, and to identify the associated demographic, lifestyle, and health-related factors contributing to the condition. |
