Abstract

The data collection process involved field-level surveillance conducted by local health agents across various Kebele and village locations in the Gog Woreda. During monthly visits, surveyors engaged community members to assess their level of knowledge regarding Guinea Worm Disease (GWD), specifically testing their ability to recognize the disease from visual aids, their understanding of preventative measures, and their awareness of financial incentive programs established for reporting suspected human or animal cases .To standardize the survey results, the raw responses were mapped to a structured codebook. Rather than using open-ended text for every field, responses were categorized into specific alpha-numeric codes. This coding structure minimizes inconsistency during data entry and allows for more efficient quantification of respondent attitudes across different administrative levels. The data is cleaned and present by exell.
