Abstract

Community based cross-sectional study design was conducted in in Arba Minch- HDSS site Gamo Zone; Southern Ethiopia, 2022. The dependent variable is Nutritional Status and the independent variables: Socio demographic and socio-economic related factors, Childhood Illness related factors, Health services related factors, Environmental related factors, feeding practice related factors, and Maternal related factors. The source population are all children aged 6-59 months in Arba Minch Health and Demographic Surveillance site with their corresponding mothers. The sample size was 402 clients and simple random sampling technique was used. SPSS software was used for data entry and analysis and the model used was logistic regression. The study period was from December 2022 to February, 2023
