| Abstract | Institution based cross-sectional study design was conducted in Sawla General Hospital and laha primary hospital. The dependent variable is Number of health care workers exposed to BBFs and the independent variables: Individual factors (Age, Sex, Profession, Work experience, educational status, recent safety training, Regular use of PPE), Work place related factors: (Working department, work load, Resource availability, Shift patterns), Health institution/System related factors: (Existence of standardized guidelines, Availability of safety sign, Staff attitudes toward reporting incidents, post-exposure prophylaxis access). The source population are all health care workers of Sawla general hospital and Laha primary hospital. The sample size was 348 clients and simple random sampling technique was used. SPSS software was used for data entry and analysis and the model used was logistic regression. The study period was from October 01 to 30, 2024 |
