| Abstract | This cross-sectional study was conducted in Gamo Zone. The dependent variable was Food handling practices, and independent variables: Socio-demographic characteristics (age, sex, marital status, religion, ethnicity, educational status, monthly income, work experience, operation time, recent training, sanitary inspection, medical check-up and license for operation, and availability of handwashing facilities) and knowledge on food safety. The source population are street food venders, sample size was 421 clients, and simple random sampling technique was used. SPSS software was used for data entry and analysis. Logistic regression model was used and the study period was from October to December 2021. |
