| Abstract | The dataset Impact Evaluation of Data-Informed Platform for Health (DIPH) Implementing DIPH in Ethiopia: Cluster Randomized Controlled trial North Shewa zonal health office, Amhara region with the main objective is systematically to strengthen district-level health systems using DIPH strategy and IT packages and Evaluate the effectiveness of embedding DIPH strategy within the district health system with respect to improvement in district health performance in data management and data-driven decision-making compared to non-DIPH districts. Electronic data collection was performed on tablets using CSPro software. The data collected from the field was sent to 'EPHI's server daily through the Internet File Streaming System. Major variables and indicators include Health Information System performance at the district level (essential infrastructure for data management, data diversity, reporting timelines, data-quality assessment mechanisms, and data use), Governance of data-driven decision-making at the district level (evidence-based decision-making, participatory decision-making, understanding the value of data, health system support for data-use/data-driven decision-making and accountability). |

| Description | This assessment was conducted on the Impact Evaluation of Data-Informed Platform for Health (DIPH) Implementing DIPH in Ethiopia: Cluster Randomized Controlled trial North Shewa zonal health office, Amhara region. The tools were designed to Evaluate the status of district-level health systems using DIPH strategy and IT packages and data-driven decision-making compared to non-DIPH districts. Electronic data collection was performed on tablets using CSPro software. The survey respondents included an average of five eligible staff per Woreda health office; the head of the Woreda health office, a Health Information Technician (HIT), a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, a Maternal and Reproductive Health Officer, and a Child Health and Nutrition Officer. The assessment tools include: Health Information System performance at the district level (essential infrastructure for data management, data diversity, reporting timelines, data-quality assessment mechanisms, and data use), Governance of data-driven decision-making at the district level (evidence-based decision-making, participatory decision-making, understanding the value of data, health system support for data-use/data-driven decision-making and accountability). |
