| Abstract | The dataset assessment of preparedness and response of treatment and isolation centers on covid-19 management in Addis Ababa Ethiopia 2020 with the objective of assess the preparedness and response of treatment and isolation centers on management of COVID-19 that would further enable for the identifying the gaps and recommend possible interventions. The assessment was conducted in treatment and isolation centers planned to give services for COID- 19 in Addis Ababa and all treatment and isolation centers which were selected to give services for COVID-19 were included in the assessments. Collected data from each treatment facility and isolation centers entered in to EPi-info and the data transferred to SPPS for analysis. Major variables and indicators include Status of treatment and isolation centers for preparedness and response regarding Leadership and Good Governance, Consumable and durable medical equipment and supplies, Identification and management of ill patients, Visitor’s access and movement within the treatment ,Treatment and isolation center’s preparedness and response for occupational health ,Staffs orientation and training in treatment and isolation centers during COVID-19 management ,Health care services/ surge capacity in treatment and isolation centers and COVID-19 prevention and control procedures and practices in treatment and isolation centers |

| Description | The assessment was conducted in treatment and isolation centers planned to give services for COID- 19 in Addis Ababa. The tools were designed to assess the status and capacity of health care facilities, isolation centers and diagnostic laboratories regarding emergency preparedness and response on COVID-19 management through interviewer administered questionnaire and observational checklist. The assessment tools include leadership and good governance, consumables and durable medical equipment and supplies, identification and management of ill patients, visitors access and movement within the facility, occupational health, orientation and training, health care services/ surge capacity, human capacity, health care facility communication, facility design and capacity and COVID-19 prevention and control systems (IPC). Collected data from each treatment facility and isolation centers entered in to EPi-info and the data transferred to SPPS for analysis. |
