Abstract

The dataset on FINAL REPORT ON ASSESSMENT OF FMoH-UNICEF-KOICA PROJECT IN FOUR ZONES IN OROMIA AND SNNP REGION  is generated due to the project implementation of FMoH-UNICEF–KOICA project in the improvement of national MNCH care in the year implemented from 2015 to 2018 with the aim of scaling up maternal and newborn care services in Bench Maji, Keffa and Segen Zones of Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples’ (SNNP) Region, Jimma Zone of Oromia Region, and Assosa Zone of Benishangul Gumuz Region. The assessment applied a mixed-methods design combining quantitative and qualitative data, which were collected concurrently. The data were collected over a period of one month from 16 February to 15 March 2019 is used and covers infants under one year and women aged 15-49  years old. The major variables and indicators include ANC, PNC, delivery, Newborn care (within two months after delivery and Children 2 months to <1 year with pneumonia. Quantitative data were collected on tablets using CSPro software were exported to SPSS version 20 for analysis and qualitative data were imported into NVivo-10 software where pre-determined nodes and child nodes were used to crack data.
