| Abstract | This dataset on road traffic accidents was collected by the Addis Ababa traffic management agency occurred between the years 2003 to 2010 EFY. It captures information on the number of damages and types of traffic accidents. It includes death, severe disability/ major body damage, minor disability/ body damage, and property damage. This data contains the time of damage, day of damage, age of the driver, sex of the driver, educational status of the driver, property of the vehicle, the experience of the driver, type of the driver’s license, year of experience in driving, the vehicle type, the vehicles defect during damage, the road of damage happened, damage by road layout, road pavement type, condition of the road at the damage, lighting during damage, air condition during damage, crowdedness of traffic, cause of the accident, number of affected persons, number of affected vehicles, an estimate of damaged property, and steps taken. |
