| Abstract | This cross-sectional survey was conducted in 40 woredas and 13 hubs located in Amhara, Oromia, SNNPR, and Tigray Regions and AA City Administration between May 2 to May 11, 2018. The objective of this assessment was to accelerate the sustainable availability of essential medicines at service delivery points per Woreda by identifying enabling factors and challenges to further strengthening PFSA- Woreda Health offices interface and partnerships. The finding of this survey showed the following.
All PFSA hubs and WoHOx strongly agreed that pharmaceutical supply chain management takes a lion's share in the Woreda transformation agendas; the transformation agendas will not be practical without a sustainable supply of health commodities. |

| Description | The dataset on PFSA-Woreda Health office Interface for Strengthening Pharmaceutical Sector was a mixed survey conducted between May 2, 2018, to May 11, 2018, in 40 woredas and 13 hubs located in Amhara, Oromia, SNNPR, and Tigray Regions, and Addis Ababa City Administration. Key informants' in-depth interview was conducted with higher officials at the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH), Central PFSA, Regional Health Bureaus (RHB), and Zonal Health Departments (ZHD) for the qualitative component. Electronic data collection was applied using SurveyCTO software and descriptive statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS version 24. This dataset captures information on the proportion of health facilities supplied by the hubs, availability of pharmaceutical supply management and pharmacy service unit/department to WoHO, currently, and existing challenges, and reasons for perceived weak collaboration were assessed. |
